Your task is to choose a specific animal to research from the list provided on the process page.  Once you pick an animal, you will have a chance to research online to find out information about their endangerment.  After all of your research is finished you will write a letter to the local newspaper to express an opinion about the information that you find.  In your letter to the newspaper, you will include:

1.  background information about your animal

2.  reasons why your animal is endangered

3.  laws or organizations that are active to protect your animal
